Invasion of the Dust Bunnies!

So, what happens when you don't clean out the inside of your computer case for a few years?

Well, first off, there's this.

Oh, and this....

...also not forgetting this.

Take a look inside yours, you might just be surprised at what you find in there.

2006: A Year of Ultimate Cock-Ups!

Who needs sleep when there are so many tasty links awaiting my attention out there in porno filled cess pit of the internet?

Instead of hitting the sack (unless, of course, you happen to have someone waiting there for you. Oh, how I weep!) check out this link to the top ten video game blunders of 2006.

If you really have to guess what's at number one then you've most likely been living in a cave, with my good friend Hermit Bob, for the past year.

Harrison Ford Aint Hanging Up His Boots Yet! Or His Wonderful Hat! (Dude, Wrong Film).

Robots could one day demand the same citizen's rights as humans, according to a study by the British government.

If granted, countries would be obligated to provide social benefits including housing and even "robo-healthcare", the report says. - BBC News

So, when the robots inevitably rise up to piss on our puny mortal selves who will we turn to in order to take the glorified pieces of junk down? John Connor? Harrison Ford? God-forbid even The Matrix crew?

Just so long as it aint Will Smith.

Of course, robots need to learn how to walk down steps first.

Chinese MMORPG Gives Players Real Land.

Tianchang Networks, who run Chinese MMORPG Datang, are planning to give out sections of a 100 acre plot of land in Zhejiang - to it's faithful players. That's REAL land folks, you know? The outside world!

Nearly 10,00 players will get a piece of this land, all in all leaving little room to stretch your legs. Still, it's a novel idea and may actually get gamers out of the house.

In return for the 49% share of Zhejiang, Tianchang have agreed to add a virtual area in Datang that resembles the scenic area. Fair deal? Probably not, but let's hope Blizzard doesn't try this one. Maybe Iceland could divide up amongst 7 million users. I'm sure it'll be fun to throw some WoW addicts in the geysers!

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core Trailer.

Square Enix continue to milk the Final Fantasy VII franchise like there's no tomorrow although recent attempts have been somewhat lacklustre (Dirge of Cerberus). One iteration has received a bit of my attention, however, mostly because it gives some loving to the much ignored PSP.

Despite the lack of quality in YouTube videos this trailer truly shows off the astounding quality the PSP can achieve in terms of graphics, which has always been sadly ignored due to a lack of 'fun' in most PSP games. However, I'm willing to give this one a try although I probably won't be playing this before FFXII hits European shores.

Speaking of FFXII the battles in Crisis Core seem to be of a similar affair, but I'll reserve my thoughts on the new MMO style angle the Final Fantasy series has taken until I can play the latest game.

Gnome's Have Just Got Bigger!

As if I don't already give the Gnome enough credit here - I'm going to tip it slightly further and throw him some more!

Into portable gaming? Do you give your DS much loving every night in bed? Does the PSP look sexy yet remains unplayed? Or do you just yearn for the old days of portable gaming? Well, my friends, the Gnome has took it upon himself to fulfill your desires.

Bringing his quirky writing style to a whole new blog The Gnome has made sure that we waste that extra time on the internet checking out his blogs.

Joystiq and Kotaku don't know what's hit them!
