Rocketboom Has A New Host?

I blogged the other day about Amanda Congdon leaving Rocketboom. Well, apparently, the search for a new host has been ended with the signing of Joanne Colan.

She recently set up a blog naming herself as the new host of Rocketboom, although more information about the new position is yet to be posted.

Two good things here;

1) She's British (not that I have anything against Americans, I just prefer my own accent)
2)She's hotter! (EDIT: ok, scratch that, I prefer Amanda. Still, as MSNBC said, they have an uncanny resemblance)

Heh.

Anyway, I'll be following her progress with interest. Her first vlog was supposed to kick off today but the only thing on the site is a video of someone sliding across the camera on a chair decked in protective gear. Freezing the frame confirms it's a woman so it's most likely it's the new host since Andrew Baron has confirmed speculation about Colan being the new host.

Gah, that last paragraph sucked.
